a note,

I've learned something this weekend, a valuable note to self if you will, I learned or maybe just realized that no matter the length of time, or distance apart people stay the same, its the circumstances that change, not the person, It's good seeing people you havent seen in awhile and taking note that they are the exact same person they were when you last saw them. After thinking about this, I then realized this about the people I see everyday, or twice a week, or once a month, people stay the same but the circumstances change. My circumstances have changed recently, being on a work vacation, for me way too long now, I figured it might take a toll on me, but it hasn't because im the same person day in and day out, even though my circumstances have changed I still act and think the same way towards the same things. People must adapt and act accordingly to what is placed in front of them, whether it is good or bad people must adapt, but inside we stay the same. You hear people say "oh this person has changed" etc etc, no they havent, they've always been like this, but now their circumstances have made them adapt.“We cannot change our past. We can not change the fact that people act in a certain way. We can not change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude,”Charles Swindoll.
